4.1.0.GA Now Available

We’re pleased to announce the general availability of SDK/Studio 4.1.0. In addition to several hundred fixes, this release includes some major enhancements. Chief among them is the ability to create fully native Windows apps — that’s right, Windows now joins iOS and Android as a completely supported native target platform!

Also included in this release:

  • Vector overlays in maps
  • ListView updates, including allowing multiple markers in ListView
  • iOS: Support built-in functionality to add “More” button(s) when user swipe to delete a cell in rows
  • Android: Add support to HTTPClient for PATCH requests

More detailed information can be found in the release notes. We’ve also prepared a sample application which demonstrates much of the new functionality.

To install the set of updates, launch Appcelerator Studio. It will install the updates automatically. From the command line:

$ [sudo] npm install appcelerator -g
$ appc use latest
$ appc ti sdk install

As always, please log any bugs or issues in the “AC” project in JIRA.
