RC Version of Titanium SDK 64-bit Support Now Available

3d abstract architecture background

We’re now releasing our RC version of the Titanium SDK with support for 64-bit builds on iOS.

A reminder that starting February 1st 2015, Apple will require that all new App Store submissions be compiled using the iOS 8 SDK, and support 64-bit architectures.. In an updated move, Apple is now allowing existing applications until June 1st, 2015 to complete the transition.

To Test

To test, please download the latest SDK build from the 3.5.0 stream (https://builds.appcelerator.com/#3.5.0). You do not need to download any CLI or Studio updates. You then just need to build your application using this latest version.

This build has no known issues for app deployment, thus the RC label. It does include a functioning debugger with a few remaining issues that will be resolved before the 3.5.0.GA on January 15th, 2015.

Important Notes

In the 3.5.0 release notes, we detail several important changes. In particular, ALL iOS modules will need to be 64-bit compatible.. You can search for modules already updated to 64-bit on gitt.io.

If you run into any issues, please file JIRA tickets and let us know ASAP.

  1. Hi:

I´ve tried to activate my account, but when I insert the appcelerator code, the system refuses to accept it.
    Can you help me?

    Kind regards

  2. Hello,

I opened a bug in the Jira Server

It’s a Critical Bug that happens only on Android Lollipop.

We are a mobile development company and I’m using Appcelerator for over than 2 years and I’m very happy with the platform – but this kind of bug never happend to me – We are stuck and cannot release a version for the client.
